Wendy Lee is an award winning writer specializing in travel, food, and wine. She’s written for a variety of publications including Insider, Travel Awaits, InsideHook, Matador Network, and Travel World International. 

After a successful 30 year career in the non-profit sector, Wendy left to pursue a dream of travel writing. She began with her blog, Empty Nesters Hit The Road, which is committed to helping couples 50+ travel more. Over time she began writing for other blogs and publications while expanding her skills in photography, videography, and social media.

Based in Southern California, Wendy and her husband, Jason, enjoy hiking, kayaking, and biking. Together they’ve traveled to over thirty countries and much of the United States.
